• Account details: your email address, your name and a securely hashed password (we never see the password itself)
• Optional profile details you add, such as your school and graduation year
• The coursework files you upload, the text we extract from them, and any notes or teacher comments you add
• The feedback, scores and checklists generated for your submissions
• Articles and diagrams you paste or upload to Article Check and Diagram Check (used for that check and not stored)
• A count of the feedback reports and checks you run, for daily limits and plans
• If you buy a plan: what you bought, when, and your Stripe customer reference — never your card details
• If you create or join a class: the class, its members and its join code
• Technical logs kept by our hosting provider for a short time (for example the page requested and when), used to keep the service running

We don't use advertising, tracking pixels or third-party analytics, and we never put your coursework text or teacher comments into logs.

• To create and secure your account and keep you signed in
• To store your coursework and generate feedback on it
• To show your history, revisions and portfolio estimate
• To send account emails, such as confirming your email address or resetting your password

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers or publish your work.

We rely on a small number of service providers, each used only for the job below:

• Supabase — accounts, database and private file storage
• Vercel — hosting the website and running our servers (United States)
• Anthropic — the AI model that reads your coursework and writes the feedback
• Resend — sending account emails
• Stripe — payments, if you buy a plan (card details go straight to Stripe)

When you request feedback, your submission's text, its diagrams and the assessment criteria are sent from our servers to Anthropic. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, content sent through its API is not used to train its models by default. These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States.

If you join a class with a code, the teacher of that class can see your name and your coursework in Wenzify — titles, drafts, scores and feedback — read-only. They can't change or delete anything. They lose access when you leave the class in Settings, or when they remove you or delete the class. Teachers never see your email address or password.

• Coursework, feedback and your account are kept until you delete them
• Uploads that were never turned into an analysis are removed automatically after about a day
• When you delete coursework or your account, it is removed from our database and file storage straight away

You can delete a single piece of coursework, all of your coursework, or your whole account from inside Wenzify at any time. You can also email us to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it or to have it deleted, and we will respond as quickly as we can. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Most Wenzify users are secondary school students. You should be at least 13 to create an account. If the law where you live requires a parent or guardian's consent for online services at your age, please get it before signing up. If you believe a child has given us data without the consent they needed, email us and we will delete it.

Wenzify only uses the cookies needed to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, so there is nothing to opt out of.

Your files are stored privately under your account, never behind public links. Every request checks that you own what you are asking for, so one student can never see another student's work, and all traffic is encrypted with HTTPS.

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the date above. For significant changes we will let you know by email or in the app.
